If you have ever sat in the Brisbane magistrates court you get to see our system setting common criminals free of charges for weapon related related offences. Its a waste of public money and resources to hear this in court. A soldier is convicted of a crime and branded a gunman when he didn't have a gun. This is disrespectful to all Australian Defence Force members past and present that this poor flippant guy is to face charges.
