I live in Rochedale and I reckon people over reacted to the situation.

Again the "wowsers" & politically anal making decisions that is beyond belief, drop the charges and let Nicholas carry on doing his job that protects us ! Bit like the C17 doing the low level flight over Brissy for white ribbon, people thought the plane may have been hijacked being that low. Defence apologised and everyone moved on.

Leave the Army digger, I'm sure there are plenty of girls who can do your job. Australia doesn't want real men to fight for them anymore.

Ok, maybe he shouldn't have been training out in public. I can understand that people were not aware he was training. But to charge him with albeit minor offences is harsh. He made a mistake and he was sorry for scaring people. He didn't mean to scare people. Geez cut the guy some slack!

The public nuisance has been caused by the muppet who phoned it in, the officers that carried out the arrest after seeing the guy in uniform with a pack.
Training, by himself, so that he is ready when his country calls for him to protect them, even if that protection begins in another country, only to be met with this TOTAL MUPPETRY & MOCKERY of the Australian Digger.
Many grandfathers, including my own, are tossing and turning in their graves, appalling its progressed this far. Case DISMISSED, ONLY VALID OUTCOME.

Don't charge this Man for wanting to improve his fitness and therefore Survivability "In The Field". What the Media have said about this Hero is not-on! (In my eyes all our Soldiers are Hero's).
The real guilty party is the stupid person who made the complaint.
If he is charged, expect a Rally on the steps of Parliament! You'll know me, I'll be the Vocal one in the front!
