It is an absolute disgrace when not even our police force can recognise a member from our defence forces in uniform training. This whole incident disgusts me, our defence members are not treated with the respect they deserve.

He shoul be allowed to wear his uniform with pride, regardless of what he is doing. For Australians to be alarmed by our colours is a travesty.

We have seen soldiers training on Mt Ainlie and Mt Majura in Canberra with mock up weapons for years - never a drama, this bloke didn't read the situation well but is not guilty of any crime

This man signed a blank cheque for this country to give his life for it.
These charges are ludicrous. The media has blown this out of proportion.
And the judge should be thanking him for his service and for putting in extra training to protect them.even better
