We ask a great deal of our soldiers when we are in trouble, I would like to know that they have our support when they are in trouble.

I can understand the schools going into lock down as a precaution. But it should have ended there with a opps...by the schools etc

Seriously... focus on the scum we let into our country that we are constantly fighting against, not those willing to sacrifice their life for our country!

The police had a panic attack. The magistrate thinks the nanny state is good and we all have to be kept safe from something. I'd call it a serious over reaction by police and others.

Leave these innocent blokes go and go spend our tax money chasing real crims, Australia is starting to loose it's way.

The decision to train in a public place, with the current world problems we are frequently seeing, was a poor choice. The decision to charge a young man who proudly serves his country is just as poor. Please dismiss the charges, allow this young man to get back to what he does best and let everyone learn from this situation.

As usual trumped up story about a Soldier training to do his job, people forget who puts there life on the line so other people have the freedom to whinge.

Maybe advice him to run on base, But you can't seriously charge this man for a toy piece of metal(training aid). He was in a non threatening training stance. And gearing up for the ultimate service. I salute him. OUR judge in this case should be ashamed.

This guy is obviously a motivated person trying to better himself and is arrested for using a training instrument because it looks similar to a weapon. What rubbish.
Wake up Australia. I support Nick.
