This is a joke. Our justice system is so floored they will let a wife killer out of jail but crucify a hard working soldier who is out bettering himself to defend the country. Shame shame shame.

The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war.
Soldiers must train. We must let them train properly so that the worst they must do is risk their lives, rather than lose them.
The allegations against this training soldier bring shame to our national pride.

Next time anyone sees a Qld copper hiding in the bushes with a speed gun, call it in as a security risk. That speed gun is clearly a serious threat (more than a piece of pipe that this Digger was carrying for PT) and the uniform could be identified as a terrorist.

The "makeshift gun" was perhaps ill-considered but innocent. I appreciate that times have changes and terrorists have the upper hand, but I remember, as a serviceman, undertaking training in public places in full combat load with "real" rifles. We were not arrested and charged.

This guy was doing his job. He is expected to be fit enough at all times to do his job. The qld police that treated him so badly should be charged with treason and retrained so they know what a gun looks like.

Since when is it illegal to wear the Queen's uniform in Australia? Nicolas had a right to wear it and was training to defend this country.

In this time we NEED all our troops, not to persecute them. There are enough other groups that want to do that.
