Never once had a problem training along the beach with our mock metal pipes/bars. Both fulltime and reserves . Hell even alot of ex Fulltime Army and Reservists are Police. Just a shame the Police on duty that day had no real training in recognizing a real threat.

I fail to see how it's in the public interest to prosecute a bloke who is training to protect the very same public.

Soldiers need to train, don't expect them to fight for you if you don't show them the respect they deserve. He should never have been charged. Training guns are a standard practice in the military. He's qualified to carry a real one.

Support those who serve for our freedom, not the tools in the media that hype it all up or the judge who has his head so far up his ass, its just a hard working bloke looking to advance himself he just mads a poor decision that 10 years ago no one would look twice at....

Reason must prevail in the Court in Queensland - our whole community should support him with his plight - he was maintaining his fitness to be ready to protect us all

the guy is a hero. Anyone not agreeing doesn't deserve to be in this country.

We now live in a country where the public cannot even recognise the people that are there sweating and bleeding to protect them. This whole public nuisance charge is a waste of time and money and going to be a red mark on the file of a digger whose biggest fault that day was maybe a lapse in judgement.

This soldier should not be punished! Some are so busy believing the ridiculous hype about terrorism they panic at the smallest thing. We should be supporting the people who sacrifice everything for the peace and security this country enjoys, in any way that we can.

May we unite and conquer this together, the legal system may be failing but we as people will not because our soldiers will not stop fighting for us, WE WILL FIGHT FOR THEM!

Just someone that was attempting to be better at his job. Shouldn't be punished!
