Im a former soldier and dont beleive this serving member should suffer any consequences. I don't blame the Police for acting but he shouldn't be getting dragged through this unnecessary process.

My heart goes out to Nicholas and I trust common sense will prevail here. I am quite certain this hard working soldier has found a more suitable place to train. Our Defence Force does this country proud and we support everyone of them to the hilt. They put their lives on the line for us and deserve our loyalty and fair treatment. Best of luck young man and thank you for your service.

this is appalling to have someone who is protecting our country and wanting to further his career in the armed forces to be denied the fact he can just because of something petty.... Absolutely disgraceful

To punish initiative is not a fair justification in this instance.
To criticize and ostricize this man for his training is not the Australian way.
Especially for the sacrifice he is prepared to lay defending this great nation.
As a fellow soldier, the respect that I have for this digger is very strong, just for the simple fact of him trying to train for selection...
This nation needs to support our troops. Not prosecute them!

This is ridicules, the courts need to really look at themselves and realize that it was not this soldiers fault that schools went into lockdown. He is a hero to this nation and his unit. Kia Kaha mate
