I can't believe that it's even gone to court. What a disgrace! And the comments from the moronic judge?

Bloody public and the officers oughta be ashamed of themselves... And then they'll be the first sooks calling the Army, and blokes like him, when REAL terrorists show up... And the Judge needs a wake-up too, it should have been dismissed instantly!

The ADF should have all their ppl out after hours on the streets so the public can learn what an Australian serviceman/woman looks like.

All military personnel should be able to carry weapons in public anyway. Being charged with any type of offence while simply training with a dummy weapon is rediculous.

It is truely appauling that some of the Australian public want this man charged. I hope you dont need him to save your life one day. After all it was just training!

Anyone willing to lay their life down for their country can not be convicted for training

Is this how we want to treat those who would give their lives for this country?

People should feel safe knowing that there are soldiers out there spending their free time training to make sure they are at their peak fitness to protect this country.

He was training to be better at his job!
Always striving to be better and Challenging himself...
What does this say in support for Australian Soldiers... That Soldiers should only train inside Military bases... He never broke his oath that he took when he volunteered himself to defend Australia and it's interests! It is appalling to see how the Media and the Australian Police are handling this!
