Have you reached out to any advocates in Anchorage? This is clearly a huge mistake by the tribe and the state. Hope they get back to their family soon.

This makes me sick to my stomach. OCS does this way to often in Alaska and it needs to stop. Sending so much love to you and your mom, please keep fighting for them.

as an adopted indian/eskimo child, not enrolled not told...now grown....please allow these children to be with maternal family if fit. It really sucks being adopted and not allowed to know your REAL ROOTS!! I understand the adoptive parents are probably DESPERATE ...however, that does not do anything for the children. They will grow up and hate you!! TRUST ME!! Possibly a shared parenting...and file suit against child welfare in Alaska...
