Ike's is by far the best place on campus. I strongly petition to keep Ike's in Huang

The original survey that you based this decision on DID NOT ASK: do you prefer ike's or a mediocre sandwich shop which is cheaper?

RD&E, chill. Ike's > Y'all. Sorry. Don't be haters.

This is ridiculous. R&DE's locations are far more overpriced and useless, and if meal plan dollars aren't allowed you can't even claim an advantage to convenience. Very disappointed.

Huang is completely out of touch with the Stanford community.

I've always gone to Ike's because the quality of the food is high, despite the high prices and wait time. As far as the ability to spend Cardinal dollars at the proposed R&DE site, this seems like another bogus attempt to monopolize student businesses. Students are not really saving money with the "10% discount", but Stanford clearly is. I only purchased food from locations that accept Meal Plan dollars when I was on a weekly meal plan, because of the "use or lose" mentality associated with Meal Plan Dollars. Living in a row house, I now have zero motivation to eat at places like Olive's, where I know that the food will be expensive and not as good. If I were to still live at Stanford next year, I know that the loss of Ike's would drive my business off campus.

I'm a ProFro and Ike's Place was a huge factor in my decision to enroll at Stanford Class of 2018.
