We all have constraints. But if we can keep our humanity alive among all these constraints, then it will be a great achievement for all of us. Please reconsider.

The washerpersons have done a great favor to the IITK community by cleaning clothes. They should not be evicted from the campus.

Rather than evict them, IITK should give them a good living environment.

Agree with the contents. Dhobis are permanent part of any society and cannot be uprooted at the whims and fancies of IITK Admn. They are needed by the community.

I belong to 1979-84 batch of IITK and am at present a visiting faculty at the National Law University Delhi. For me, to be proud of IITK I want it to abide by a philosophy of social inclusion and democratic decision making, both are violated by the action we are protesting.

If is not only breaking the promise Iitk founder director made to brother by Dhobis to the campus, it also does not make economic sense nor fulfills IITK’s responsibility to society by rendering Dhobl’s job less.

Please withdraw the eviction notice. They are integral part of the IITK community and should not be evicted.
