The picking of select neighboring countries instead of all neighboring countries or all neighbouring countries with a state religion( Bhutan, Sri Lanka), the leaving out of other forms of persecution such as political and religious persecution of coreligionists( such as Ahmadiyas, Shia Muslims), and the denial of/ discrimination on road to citizenship by religion as a criteria makes this bill unconstitutional and contradicts the secular nature of our constitution and the right to equality and equal protection by law guaranteed to all persons(not just citizens). But that, legal validity, is for the courts to arbitrate, yet the way in which the act is passed and the manner in which opposition is being crushed with force is untenable. Violence and internet shut downs shouldn't be a systemic response to protests, and now, after Kashmir, it is Assam, Tripura and even Delhi. If you think too, that this is not how things should be run in a democracy you've a stake in, in which you've the power to influence, sign this petition! :)

I think this should be stopped because Indian economy and education system already in not good condition. And adding more people into it will be not a good idea for education when government already cut the education budget. Some communities specially the SC/ST who belongs to villages are already in panic due overload of education expenses and basic requirements for their family. So I think government and Supreme court should take on some appropriate action and that is not to force it on public by implementing CAA. We have so many issue bigger than this as I have mentioned above.

By removing Internet access, they violate right to free speech.
