Common sense has all but been lost in the shameful endeavor of targeting fragrances under the pretense of protecting a small percentage of the public from a possible rash or other annoying allergic reaction. Until the world bans the production and use of peanuts from the marketplace, the banning of potential allergens from fragrance production will remain asinine and the reasoning for doing so highly suspect. You can list potential allergens on each bottle which contains them and let consumers decide. Period. One cannot recreate a scent by merely knowing the ingredient, you must know the specific amount of EVERY ingredient to even come close so there is zero risk of any formula being replicated by divulging individual notes. Find something better to do with your time and money than to destroy our beautiful classics, like campaigning to have potential allergens listed on labels and packaging if you must. Just get out of the way, uncuff the creators and artists and let the consumers decide for themselves. STOP THIS INCREASINGLY SENSELESS REGULATING! You DO NOT speak for us.

Just put the ingredients on perfume bottle labels and let consumers decide for themselves. Stop replacing complex natural ingredients with cheap synthetics and pretending it's for our health. We know the difference. Stop destroying perfume art!

I understand the restrictions of some allergens in some ingredients, but the recent ban list is beyond absurd. Why don't they ban all ingredients in the world and start making scents only with water, then? For God's sake, I had enough on this. I'm seriously done with that. There will be a year soon when perfumes will not be called perfumes anymore. I'm done with these bans and restrictions... I'ts time to stop.

I would strongly favor a list of ingredients and my own choice in buying the product and risking an allergy versus losing one masterpiece after another to IFRA regulations.

This is beyond out of control. I want the right to choose. How can you even consider the banning of many of these ingredients??? This is insanity! Little, by little, you are taking attempting to create an odorless world. What next? Colors??? Why not? You can always claim that certain colors stimulate a negative reaction in certain people, ban them, dress us all in gray, and proclaim that you are protecting us and that it is for our own good. Strip away all that is pleasing to the senses, and you leave no difference between actually living, and merely existing. PLEASE! Stop!!!

I am allergic to penicillin as are many other people. Does that mean it should be banned? No, we simply stay away from penicillin. Allergens is not the true reason for these bans. It is appalling.
