Couldn't think of better name. Coach Pop has meant so much to this city far beyond the championships his involvement with the San Antonio Food Bank and Boys and Girls Club. A true class act and positive role model.

Having the school named after the general of one of the US' biggest foes is unacceptable. Great choice as a replacement.

Greg Popovich is a huge inspiration to San Antonio. He teaches the fundamentals of team work and family. He would be a perfect to name the school after him.

If you want to change our name, at least make it someone we'd want, like a local role model to the city! :)

Poppovich is the greatest coach in history, he is a true inspiration to gamers. If it wasnt for the NBA final loss i might have been a Pc gamer and not a PS4 gamer.

I'm not a graduate of Lee HS. Doesn't matter. If Lee HS is going to be renamed, name it after George Gervin or Greg Popovich

It's only right, this man is humble, basketball genius and our Spurs including Coach Pop make sure to give back to this great city! I would love to see this come true.

There is no place in the year 2015 for remembering the atrocities of those who perpetuated slavery in a country that prides itself on freedom.
