As a graduate of Lee I never found the school name offensive but as a proud San Antonio native as well why not honor a great leader for this city

What a great petition that I am so proud to sign and hope it happens. Coach Pop is one of a kind and makes San Antonio so proud with his principles, character and leadership.

I grew up down Vance Jackson from Lee HS, I went to Clark, but had friends at Lee and I always thought it was insane there was a school honoring Lee. What is not insane is honoring Popovich, he really has been an integral part in putting a spotlight on San Antonio for his positive accolades. He would probably laugh at the idea but I think a lot of the cities residents would appreciate him getting the recognition.

Gregg Popovich is as San Antonio as the Alamo or the Riverwalk. This would be an amazing gesture for a man that has given our city so much to be proud of.

Mavericks fan here but Pop is one of the best coaches in all of sports. Great leader and character traits.

Pop is a hero for this city, who brought more proud to our city than any civil war vet. He is a pillar of excellence, a role model for young people, and this is a great idea.

As a '73 grad, I think this is the perfect solution to a problem currently at hand with a school named in Lee in the 21st Century
