Pop is definitely someone well respected in the community. Not only is he obviously forever linked to San Antonio because of the Spurs, but this is a military city and he has shown by words and actions he is supportive of the military and veterans. Just a well rounded, humble, and respectful man I'd be proud to send my child to a school bearing his name.
