Being a Reagan Graduate it'd be cool to see a Spurs coach. The Spurs coach have his own school named after him

The long sustained excellence of the Spurs starts at the top with Gregg Popovich. He is a proven winner on and off the court. The secret to his success is that he treats players, coaches and others with dignity and respect. He often says that there is more to life than just basketball, which is indicative of a man who cares about people first. He was the first coach to hire a woman to be on his staff. He is an grew leader and a great example for all San Antonians. I hope that NEISD would agree as well because what better way to immortalize a great man than to name a great school after him.

I was born and raised in San Antonio. I currently live in Austin. As the country has started to stand against the confederate culture, the perfect choice for this high school is to be remember by a true hero of San Antonio.

Wonderful idea! Lived in the neighboorhood my entire life and graduated from ISA in 2007. I represented Lee at the state level in Choral Singing all four years of highschool and played baseball as well. The arguement in case for Coach Pop is logical, in my opinion. He is a wonderful leader and public figure. This city loves the Spurs. We're proud of how they've represented us and made us proud. There is nobody else more deserving than Coach Pop. It would be an awesome tribute to him.

I strongly agree with you. Pop is a very highly recognized person. His character and work ethic is the way to young peoples futures. True role model. The school should be proud to have his name.
