though i am a graduate of sa jefferson, we were in same football district when i went to high school. lee high doesn't need to be changed but if it is who better than popovich?

While a basketball coach shouldn't have as much influence as a government official, there is no denying Popovich's positive impact across the world. I wouldn't be surprised if more people knew of Popovich's accomplishments than the namesake of my own high school, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

I don't believe in your logic about Lee but I do support the name change to include Popovich. I also recommend consideration for Nelson Wolff HS, Lila Cockrell HS, Susan Pamerlou HS, and Cesar Chavez HS.
