As a NEISD taxpayer I have always been offended by the naming of one of our high schools after a confederate traitor. The confederacy wanted to retain slavery. An abomination in God's eyes. Rename the school...Popovich HS is worthy!!!

Pop is great role model for not only students, but everyone in the city of San Antonio. It would be exciting the see him honored with a school named after him, what a testament to his SA legacy.

I am from San Antonio and graduated from Marshall High School. If this was my school considering changing the name I would be on board.

I am not in favor of a name change just to bow to "political correctness". But if it comes to change, I would chose coach Pop over anyone else.
I am proud of my alma mater and support this change - Class of 1978
