Twitter CFO Anthony Noto suggested recently that twitter might begin using algorithms to curate what shows up on your feed. This is one of the reasons that many Twitter users are critical of Facebook.
Much of the appeal of Twitter is that it consists of unfiltered content. Users can interact in real time, which is very useful during unfolding events.
Twitter is a tool of the people and users shouldn't give up without a fight. Tell Twitter that you will not tolerate this type of censorship and manipulation so that a few can profit.
Tell Twitter CFO Anthony Noto and CEO Dick Costolo that their actions will have consequences.
It's simple:
"If you curate my feed, I delete my account."
