Ruby has been and is a great manager at Westwood Heights. The residents here are signing this petition to request that she remains here. As the resident manager at Westwood Heights, Ruby has developed an environment where residents feel they have someone who truly cares about them and will do what is necessary to meets their needs whenever possible. It is not an easy job working with the elderly and disabled community because the needs this community are many. A manager can become overwhelmed and drained. Ruby has created an environment where residents know they can come to her when they have issues, and they respect her need for privacy.

It would be a great loss to the community at Westwood and a setback in establishing a communal environment where those who are now in their declining years, and alone, can feel safe if Ruby leaves and another manager has to start over again recreating what Ruby has worked so hard to develop at Westwood. It its not broke , why fix it.
