This is a petition to adjust the dress code at Immaculate Conception School in Columbia, Illinois, to allow solid navy skirts and jumpers in addition to those in the adopted tartan.

Why?  The current uniform skirts and jumpers are available new from a single store in South County where each item costs around $40.  While the quality is high, but growing children don't need items that last for 5 years.  Solid Navy skirts are widely available, now, just as our polo shirts, navy shorts, and navy pants are.  They are also much more affordable, with a range of prices depending on where you go to purchase them.

We would still have the tartan, but simply allow solid nay in addition.
