Wouldn't you love to have an Icom 220 radio again? A radio that was designed and built in the last few years instead of the last few decades - with Icom quality and functionality. A radio with a remote head to make mobile installations easier. Icom has already done most of the work...the mechanics, layout, display & remote head design could be based on any of the mobiles that Icom currently produces for VHF or UHF like the new IC-2730A, the IC-2820H or even the ID-5100. Just imagine running D-STAR on 220! How about a dual-bander like 220MHz/900MHz...combine that with DSTAR and you would have a real winner!

If you would like to support this cause, please sign the petition and if enough signatures are collected, perhaps Icom will sit up and take notice. Lets all pull together, 220 is a great band and we need to use it before losing it.
