It's suspicious as this happened close to the T20 world cup.Kusal is a very crucial player for the Sri Lankan team.Given the condition that Kusal informed the authorities about an attempt to bribe him to loose a match in the west indies series, it arises the need to look at this situation in different perspectives. It provides suggestion that Kusal wouldn't consider going against the rules and protocols. As in the past the highest level of ICC was involved in illegal activities and match fixing, it is possible that this could be a setup by certain officers of ICC it self. Although ICC is the governing body, it's represented by the people in it. And the people ,their agendas and hidden intentions cannot be fully evaluated. So, this fact should be considered before punishing Kusal.
