That video is not an "apology" video. You do not get to be racist and call on the termination of a black journalist less than a year after making intentional racial slurs to your employees of color. ICandy is not a safe space for me and NO ORGANIZATION can help bring safety back there unless a resignation or termination of the owner has been achieved.

DePiano's decision to amplify a petition calling for Ernest Owens to be silenced is beyond the pale. It shows plainly that he has not changed one bit. The black organizations that have attempted to reach out to this man---it seems like the advice is not taking.

I can forgive a trespass. But I don't have to financially support you to forgive you. God does not command you to forget, FYI. Of course you are anonymous. And I say this without malice but with intent, there are things that must be stood for and against. Your expression of empathy is commendable. How do you measure accountability and empathy for an entire community and race of people versus that of one business man?

So nobody on hear has ever said anything they regret or insulted anyone and realized they were wrong. Please nobody is perfect and people can and do change. Life is to short and god commands us to forgive and forget read your bible

That's a shame, iCandy was the first LGBTQ+ club I've ever been too and I always thought it was a nice place. Yeah most of the employees are rude but now that I I'm hearing about this well I will be avoiding this place for now on.
