Why do managers deserve a raise more than the people that are given the directives of doing the job. Staff has not got a cost of living raise in years how do they provide and protect their families, afford to go to work everyday but still manage to provide the best customer service to the clients/providers which are the most important.

After working there for 9 years i left because of no promotion and yearly raises. The bulk of the company is carried on the backs of the hardest working but least paid employees the Child Care Assistance Program department.

What type of CEO is this, where she can brag about her maid and her cottage, yet the employees that keep the agency afloat... NOT HER.... borrows from others, make sacrifices and borrows from their 401k, just to make ends meet? What type of CEO can ignore the outright pleading and tears of employees, asking for a significant raise, so they can live comfortably for self and family? What type of CEO tells their employees, if they don't like working there - they can leave - with a smile!? Yes, this has been said by Maria to employees numerous of times. What type of CEO outright says employees should be grateful they have benefits and a job - as if employees shouldn't even ask for raise? What type of CEO is comfortable going year after year without wanting to give them a raise and bonus? What type of CEO is so arrogant and disrespectful, that she would rather drag out for over 2 years, giving the Union a contract and adequate, respectful and livable wage increases and bonuses? What type of CEO would give Supervisors a $2000+ bonus, yet wouldn't give the employees that do their overall job - in all facets of that agency - received NOTHING!? I don't work there, yet am highly offended that my family member and colleagues have been suffering, mentally abused, harassed and completely disregarded - from the lack of professionalism, respect and mere appreciation and compassion from this CEO, towards her employees. I do not use the term harassed lightly either. I'm a man and to know that this is a woman overseeing this type of treatment towards employees - yet she hypes herself in the media that she is down for the rights and respect of the community - is mind boggling. Well Board members, the employees that keep Illinois Action for Children running, deserve that same fight. The employees that process mounds of paperwork on a faulty and outdated server deserve it. The employees that process incoming and outgoing mail deserves it. The employees that work the walk in (in the

Please end this ridiculous inequality. My friend has been working on behalf of children in your union for more than a decade and with no pay increase for the last seven years. She shouldn't have to fight for a living wage.

2.5 years without a fair contract is unacceptable. Time to turn up the pressure on that greedy CEO!

Thank you for helping our Illinois Children. Now it's time to stand with the staff and help them provide for their own children. 7 years with our a raise is unconscionable! You must do what is right and just for these hard working individuals.

I worked there for 7 years I received maybe 2 raises. That was a horrible job and very poor upper management.

It is when you stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about what others needs are that makes you an inspirational manager/CEO. #increasestaffslivingwages
