I hereby pledge to be a safe driver. This includes obeying all traffic laws, and also taking every possible precaution to ensure my safety, and the safety of those around me, very time I am behind the wheel.

By signing this agreement, I pledge to:

· Obey all traffic laws

· Drive defensively and responsibly

· Remain alert and aware of possible driving dangers

· Use extra precaution when driving in poor conditions, such as heavy rain or snow

· Avoid driving distractions, such as loud music, passenger conversations and cell phones

· Ensure every passenger in my vehicle always wears a seatbelt

· Participate in a driver skills development program

· Properly and calmly manage feelings of frustration toward other drivers

· Never drive under the influence of alcohol or other substances

· Follow any additional safety precautions that could help keep me out of harm’s way

I recognize it is my responsibility to uphold the terms of

this agreement and accept responsibility for myself, my

passengers, my vehicle, passengers and vehicles around

me, pedestrians, and all other persons and entities that

come within range of my vehicle when I am driving.
