I am honestly blown away by how many of you want a space for our dogs to run in Waconia. If we can reach that next milestone of 250 names it will be impossible for the city to ignore the fact that this is something our town truly needs.

Living in a community the size of Waconia, I shouldn't have to drive to the smaller community of Victoria to allow my dogs to run, play and get exercise.
Waconia needs a dog park. You can't even walk dogs in the parks, so there needs to be a park just for dogs. It's also not safe to walk dogs on a leash in Waconia because so many people don't obey the leash law. I've had unleashed dogs come after my dogs when I walk them.
My dog is my child I have no kids and to drive a hour or so to go to a dog park really is a inconvenience it would be so nice to only drive 10 minutes..and there is so many dogs out west here we deserve a doggy park....thanks
Great idea. I might drive into Waconia more to shop if I knew I could safely let my dog run.
In a city that allows entire neighborhoods to go up without a single sidewalk, the importance of having a place for people to safely walk their dogs is important
We need a dog park it would be a wonderful addition to a great community.
Waconia needs a dog park! And responsible dog owners to keep it in great shape!

It would be great not to have to drive top Victoria. But please, if we do this, make it one that people want to come to, not just a large lawn with a fence.
