I support the spearing ban on LSC and would like to see more strict harvest regulations for muskellunge on all other Michigan waters

why plan a vacation to northern michigan to muskie fish while this is allowed? i take my money to canada and northern minnesota and wisconsin where the fisheries are regulated more efficiently and my chances of a dream coming true dont seem to exist in michigan when it comes to muskie fishing. our state should pull even more fisherman from around the world to target muskies, especially world class size which we could potentially have in abundance state wide, not just on lake st clair.

This is absolutely detrimental to the musky population! To spear a fish that size that has taken 15 years to get that size so some asshole can spear it for no reason! That's not even fishing.
