This is a practice that must be stopped. It is extremely unsportsmanlike and it is a shame to see people killing these beautiful fish.. they are truly magnificent fish & I can not stand to see them be speared or killed. If I could I would sign my name one hundred times. Please stop this ASAP.

Spearing muskies is truly wrong and must be stopped.. It's a shame to let people do this and I see it on social media every day and it makes me sick to my stomach.. Please put an end to this

If we continue to harvest wildlife as those who have in the past, there will be nothing for the future.

The lakes in Michigan that see heavy spearing pressure are badly underperforming, to allow spearing on LSC would be a gross mismanagement of the resource.

we work to hard to build and preserve the population of muskies to allow people to pick them off with a spear out of open musky season

Spearing is atrocious and should be outlawed! Detrimental to all ecosystems and a no win. Have you guys seen all the trophies that will never swim again due to people who think this is right? This has to be stopped. At least when you catch by rod and reel we can release them again. When you spear them they're dead. It takes them so long to grow to 50+ inches. Pls stop the insanity. It's outlawed everywhere else :(

This barbaric spearing must stop. Muskie are a game fish, not a coarse fish !
