I support the spearing ban on LSC and would like to see more strict harvest regulations for muskellunge on all other Michigan waters

Living by LSC and knowing the draw that trophy musky fishing has in this area spearing will only hurt the sport and the money it brings in. You wanna spear? Stick with pike.

Greed.. Greed...Spearing has been part of fishing for 5000 years. Now you anti-spearing freeks are trying dictate how fisherman harvest there prise. In michigan its one musky a year.....why do you care how I harvest Mine... Close rod and reel fishing and ONLY ALLOW Spearing... ASSHOLES

I bring a significant amount of money into the state of Michigan to fish muskies on St. Clair with a large group. If spearing is allowed we may be heading back to Minnesota.

Why would anyone want to allow spearing of one of the most coveted game fish in an age where catch & release is highly promoted to keep a fishery strong...MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Muskie fishing is a growing sport that brings in alot of tourism. Michigan has a great muskie fishery and these fish need to be protected.

why would you allow the killing of the big breeders after working so hard to improve the muskie fishery. you will have maybe 100 happy spearers that all kill a muskie and thousands of upset muskie guys that would have continued spending thousands to come cpr that fish and be back to do it all again. dead fish dont bring in the tourism

Protect your muskies Michigan for the love of god. They are such a precious and valuable resource. NO further spearing!!! It is a backwoods practice that makes both OUTDOORSMEN and the state of MICHIGAN look trashy.
