I understand that you are close to making a decision to approve or deny the anthem OrthoNet relationship. I want to voice my opposition as a physical therapist. OrthoNet will subject patients to delays in getting care and ration care by potentially denying care that the physical therapist and physician recommend. This relationship will make it more difficult for therapists to provide care to our patients without delays and create an extra layer of unnecessary paperwork for the provider. While this is cumbersome to the provider, it is ultimately not good for patients. Please oppose this relationship. Thank you!

Please do not allow the continued deterioration of the relationship between the patient and medical provider by monolithic insurance companies whose primary interest is NOT the patient but rather ever increasing profits

As an owner and office manager of a small private practice I have seen how these middlemen do NOT have the best interests of the patients at heart. They are hired by, and are for the financial benefit of, the insurance companies wanting to deny services to patients. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS ORTHONET/ABC relationship to happen

Thank you for brining this to our attention. This is not good for our patients.

We need more $$, not more paperwork. And we certainly don't need more intermediaries standing between patients, authorization, and payment.

payment is the number #1 issue facing all therapists at this time. I support efforts to address fair reimbursement for the skilled care I can provide
