Although I admire and support the efforts of the Irate8, I do to some extent question their strategy. Nevertheless, you are doing amazing work.

I support. Long overdue and much needed. Commiment and accountability to diversity and inclusion at UC has been lacking for decades. Time for change.

As a public school in service of a diverse region, the University of Cincinnati has an obligation to realize society's interest in cultivating a post-racial generation. To do so, the university administration must meaningfully engage with the Irate and make implementation of their policy framework a top executive priority.
Until then, students shall unite voices in petition, and stand united against racism, fascism, and the prison-industrial complex that has decimated generations of Americans. Civil disobedience will remain our forceful weapon.
In solidarity,

Societal evolution has occurred at an alarming rate in comparison to our planet; this demonstrates the incredible possibilities of the human brain. Maintaining systematic oppressions literally devolves our worth and is an insult to human potential.

I stand with the Irate 8 because not enough has been done to help black students and cicinnati's black community feel safe and welcome at their own university. We've started the conversation, now we need institutional change.
