Many green and sustainable options often times frees up monies to be allocated elsewhere in budget. Many items purchased for a production still have value and purpose long after production wraps, it's important it insure these items and materials are redistributed so they can continue to serve their purpose. After a materials production purpose is served, we shouldn't just waste the intentions of that objects life and throw it away because it was needed for an afternoon.

We all know how wasteful this industry is, and we all know how, with just a bit of effort, it can be a model for sustainable adaption.
Whilst we, as a business, concentrate on greening in front of the camera, we also encourage greening behind it, and in all aspects, as a business.
If all other business are beginning to realize that triple bottom line is the future of business of they want to succeed in the future economy, it's time the entertainment media business, as whole, jump on board.

having made my living in the film business I've seen first hand the abject waste. Anything we can do to stem this waste stream we have a moral obligation to do.

Well done, Earth Angel and everyone across the entertainment industry working together to bring positive change. Reducing the filming industries environmental impacts are critical if we are to create an industry fit for purpose for the next generation. You have the UK's support, best wishes, Greenshoot London :)

Pull your head out of the sand, film industry. Your environmental impact is egregious and only second to your apathy.
