The law should be a tool to keep citizens of the government safe not a tool of harassment itself. If there is not proof of threats beyond a reasonable doubt (remember this is a criminal case not civil). To use something so subjective as the fear of safety carries too much potential for abuse

I am Canadian and I did not post my real name here because now I'm afraid to get sued by idiots who feel "threatened" from mere disagreements. However we all know that those idiots aren't really scared. Crocodile tears hide the yucky truth that these people are perverting laws to silence critics. This is what this lawsuit is doing. Those "feminists" aren't doing anyone any favours by filing this lawsuit.
To silence a critic by clamoring supporters to claim that he is a paedophile is extremely disturbing and shows who the real sickos are. I have nothing but contempt for these "feminists" They should be ashamed of how they are representing the feminist movement.
Alas, people who could feel shame would not employ the tactics that they did.
