Horrible thing. This didn't file under 'hate speech' or anything that Canada strips from free speech. It's only going to get worse if he loses this case. I'm behind him 100%

this is a case of how reasonable discourse and difference of opinion in the western world (AKA freedom of speech) may be under duress,if a person can be jailed for simply disagreeing with people on social media it means that the foundations of what our western secular societies are built upon are under erosion.

This is makes me sick. We live and a western civilization that prides itself on freedom of speak however now we are throwing it out of the window with reason and logic. Is this the world I want to live or my kids to live in NO!

This trial is a prime facia abuse of a Canadian citizens constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms. There is no justice in imprisoning an individual for what amounts to nasty words on Twitter. This is disgusting, and antithetical to western values.

This cause is fantastic, this man has had his human rights and freedoms stolen, his livelihood and personal life have experienced damage which no human being should ever have to experience. this could have happened to anyone, yet it happened to him and now as equals it is our chance to bring about change and demonstrate the power of the free people when faced with a threat to anyone's freedoms be them a friend or a stranger. All my support goes out to Gregory and his family and if there is even a single person reading this i ask that you help this cause to put a man's life back together and perhaps if the same is to happen to you one day, he may just be here with the rest of us to help you.
