This is a disgusting perversion of justice that should not be allowed to continue. The idea that two women can ruin someones life just for disagreeing with them and their political views I find sickening. The two women involved should feel ashamed of what they've done and in my opinion should be tried for inciting a slanderous mob against this man. Of course they won't be - much to my bitter regret. I hope he finds a way to recover from this and gets his life back on track, hopefully my signature will help that in some small way.

This trial is a joke. This man spoke out his opinion about misbehaving of 3 women trying to destroy a mans life who used his freedom of speech. this whole trial could create a precedence that criticising feminists actions is illegal. these women are not victims, they are offender.

Freedom of speech is the concept of the inherent human right to voice one's opinion publicly without fear of censorship or punishment. "Speech" is not limited to public speaking and is generally taken to include other forms of expression.

I'm not signing to endorse either side in the Guthrie and Reilly vs Elliot battle, but because I find the situation unbearable that one side finds tactics of self-justice acceptable in a democratic society and has apparently already succeeded in its pledge to destroy the other side's public life before any verdict has been even made. As a feminist myself, I don't see how this violation of basic civic and democratic rights will be in any way helpful to all those women who really endure violence in their lives...

Governments and Laws in a democratic country that pride itself on freedom of speech and yet agree to the arrest and the court case of an individual who neither in-sighted hatred of violence to the defendants, who themselves instigated hatred towards the accused after having his freedom of speech right to be able to comment on what they say removed, is frankly hypocritical and disgusting. In my personal opinion the defendants should have to pay for wasting time in the legal system and for fraud (in the false accusation of the accused) thus the accused should be fully reimbursed for the court costs and receive damages.

Canada should be ashamed for even thinking this deserves court time. Both those ladies should get a huge fine for wasting tax payers money and prison sentence for wrongfully accusing this man and making him lose his job.

It's criminal what is being done here in the name of 'justice'. At least for now, here in the States we can still disagree with people on the internet and not get persecuted for it. Canada better wake up before it's too late (same goes for Australia). Good Luck.

This man's life has been completely shaken and could face jail time . . . for an opinion. The very foundation of our society depends on Mr. Elliott winning this case and the complainant be brought to justice.

This charge is totally absurd. Voicing an opinion is not illegal in Canada. We have free speech in Canada - unless there is a threat against your person or property. As a woman I do not advocate feminism and feel feminism is a NWO globalist plot to create chaos and think those women who support feminism are sadly miss led. After researching the events via http://Infowars.com I feel the involved feminists should be charged with criminal harassment instead of Mr. Elliot.

This case is a crime against human rights. It is a disgrace to Canada on the world stage. I can't believe that something like this could get this far.

I believe that everyone should have the right to state their opinion publicly, privately, online, or offline. Even if they would be disagreed with by someone, anyone. This feminist censorship and taking it to a level of a prison sentence needs to stop.
