The criminalization of political dissent is a dangerous path for any country to travel, particularly one that prides itself in western values. Greg Eliot has patently commit no action that rises to the level of criminal harassment, he has rather earned the ire of politically connected corrupt public figures who would twist the law into a weapon aimed at curtailing his human rights. A conviction for Eliot would be an indelible stain on Canada's soul.

To attack a citizen for non-violent, unintrusive, and peaceful debate to another citizen simply due to their status of being a woman or feminist... This is a charter violation on its base, this is just so contrary to our charter it makes me fear for my country and my safety within this countries borders.
