The feedback regarding the need for safer infrastructure in Fort Lincoln continues to highlight how disconnected our current routes are from the riverfront. I am currently coordinating with local urban planning advocates to formalize our request for a comprehensive review of these transit corridors.

The level of support for improved connectivity in Fort Lincoln has grown into a powerful mandate for change. This momentum confirms that our residents prioritize safe access to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. We are now preparing to present this clear community consensus to the relevant planning departments.

Cars go way too fast around here. Need bike lanes to calm traffic down and make it safe for everyone.
I support this petition with emphasis on inclusion of neighborhood signage designating the residential area and notifying that the speed limit is strictly enforced (especially near the Fort Lincoln shopping center); Inclusion of widened and highlighted crosswalk markings; Installation of speed board on Fort Lincoln and Commodore Joshua Barney; Inclusion of additional 25 mile per hour static speed limit signs sorely needed in Fort Lincoln.
I support the bike lanes throughout the Fort Lincoln neighborhood in Washington DC.
Bike lanes are wanted and needed. Multiple modes of transportation are always a great investment for a community, it bridges the great divide.
Really, I just want a safe way to bike around the city with my son. This would be an excellent start.

PLEASE get this done. Would love to be able to bike down to the trail without dodging traffic on the main road.
