This petition is in support of a decision of our government to make sure that healthcare received by refugees is in line with that of the tax paying citizens of this nation. We fully support the government on this stance. We believe that this should have been done years ago at the same time when the previous governments cut the healthcare benefits received by the citizens of this nation. There are some questions that should have been asked years ago. Why a refugee claimant should be receiving free Dental, Vision and medication coverage when a normal citizen is not eligible for these. Its about time we stand up for restoring the equality of canadian citizens at par with refugee claimants.
