If gays can express themselves, and Muslims can express themselves then Believers of Jesus Christ should be able to express themselves as well..

I support Joe 100%. He is a role model for all young men and young women. He is standing up for what he believes and is teaching them to be men and women with moral courage!

He was not asking or forcing anyone to pray with him, he was just praying himself which is his right.

Read the Washington State Constitution: Preamble "We, the people of the State of Washington, grateful to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe for our liberties, do ordain this constitution. and SECTION 2 SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land. and US Constitution Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." I do not see where teachers are exempt from the protection of the State of Washington and U.S. Constitutions.

I stand with the Constitution and freedom of speech. This coach is not interfering with anything. He's bringing calm into the lives of those who choose the same way a meditation coach would. "We are very particular to forbid anyone from preaching Catholicism, or Protestantism, or Mormonism, or Judaism, in a public school classroom, but for some reason we are very patient with those who teach the negative expression of religion. In the separation of church and state we ought to demand more protection from the agnostic, from the atheist, from the communist, from the skeptic, from the humanist and the pragmatist, than we have yet been given… I submit that the atheist has no more right to teach the fundamentals of his sect in the public school than does the theist. Any system in the schools or in society that protects the destruction of faith and forbids, in turn, the defense of it must ultimately destroy the moral fiber of the people." - Boyd K. Packer

Do not fire this man. He has a right to his religious freedom. And the prayer was voluntary. All who prayed have a right to their religious freedoms also.

He is not hurting anyone and he is not telling the boys to stay and pray. He is on his own and it is not his fault that when he is done, both teams r there.
