Let's recall that our nation was founded on the FREEDOM OF RELIGION not a freedom FROM religion. The coach should be free to practice his faith while others are free to just go home.

The one that should be fired is the District Superintendent for a direct assault on Coach Kennedy's constitutional right to freedom of religion which our forefathers defended and instituted. God bless him and his football players. May God protect him.

You are right. This entire situation is absurd. I think the fans should bow in prayer after the game!

Come on American's. Let's stand up for true freedom - freedom from religious persecution. This is sounding more like what countries like Iran are doing to its citizens!!! Let the guy pray, please. He's not forcing you to pray so why do you care???

A private, short prayer on a field after the game is nothing more than an American tradition that should continue to be allowed. Allow flexibility and stop taking up the arms of this "PC" movement that is now completely out of control. Let common sense prevail. THIS IS AMERICA, not IRAQ.

I was disgusted with what Aaron Leavell told Coach Kennedy. The constitution guarantees freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. And it guarantees freedom of speech too.

This is a violation of our rights as citizens of freedom of religion. Do the right thing and reinstate this coach and show the world you believe in the freedoms our constitution provides in America.
