Cal Trans needs to spend some time and money to improve the safety along highway 9 for SLV students, not spend 2.5 million to build a bridge on old county road to service 5 families.

We need to make our community more user friendly for everyone other than just car commuters. It's only going to get worse. Let's do something NOW, instead of not and wish we had.

My granddaughter goes to the High School I've driven her to school and watched kids dodge traffic before and after school. It dangerous. They need to whatever is needed to protect the kids.

I don't even live in the area, but I've driven Hwy 9 and keep wondering "If this is a school zone, why aren't there stop signs?"

With public transportation cut backs this will become the only way for many kids to get to school and Hwy 9 is crazy dangerous for ALL ages.

I strongly support better pedestrian and bicycle access along HW9: the highway is downright dangerous for pedestrians, and there are many many students who walk along the roadway to school and back.

PLEASE help make this walkspace safe. I do not let my two school age children walk along Highway 9 because of the danger, and thus I add to unnecessary traffic on Highway 9 picking them up from school.

This would be such a huge safety improvement. It makes me nervous every time I drive by and kids are walking along highway 9.

Our community would really benefit from a safe path from south Felton to the high school!

My heart was in my throat when my daughter rode her bike there from S. Felton at age 12. My grandkids attend SLV now. I believe this to be of enormous importance!

There should be a sidewalk from glen arbor to the school too.
