Amen to that Tom Cheek. She also spent a tremendous amount of time trying to teach Mike the ropes, the codes, terminology and about land use. He rarely paid attention.

No one put more thought than Thea Powell into her work on the planning and zoning board. No one.

Cobb County should be ashamed of themselves. First they allow billions to be spent on a Braves stadium at Cobb County’s taxpayers expense and without a chance for the citizens to vote, yet the county has no money for education, public parks or libraries to remain open?
Now this? If this county continues, we will be moving our family and my entire business out of Cobb very soon! Taxes and more taxes and more taxes... I thought we left Britain to alleviate having to pay taxes without the right to vote?
And shame on Boyce (whom I voted for in his first election, but am extremely disappointed in) for ridding if Thea Powell who has shown nothing but a sensible point of view and common sense in fiscal responsibility!

In boot camp in the Corps, one quickly learns when a recruit is so dumb "that he couldn't pour urine out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the heel". Expanding senior services (and advertising same) as you create and blind side seniors with an unprecedented fee for being old makes one wonder. Continuing draconican restricted operating hours for a brand new combination library and cultural center is an interesting investment philosophy. And now firing an experienced advocate for speaking her mind could well be seen, in soccer terms, as a hat trick.

The right to freedom of speech was paid for by our forefathers lives. Boyce obviously learned little in the military.

Nothing fails like surrounding yourself with all think-a-likes. It's transparent that Boyce is in over his head..

Thank you in advance for remembering that you are spending our hard earned money in the form of taxes and this is not just a trust fund that fell in your lap.

Elected officials who surround themselves with "yes men/women" tend to make poorer decisions. Discourse should be encouraged!
