Amazing Spider Man 2 was the exact opposite of anything amazing! At least let him be apart of the Marvel Universe and you can keep making crappy sony movies as well.

while it's too late for Spidey to be in the Marvel Movieverse, getting his movie rights back to Marvel will mean a more grateful, buying audience(likely such films would get more love than the Macguire/Raimi trilogy)

I have not seen any of the recent Amazing Spiderman films that Sonly produced. I love Sony playstaion products and such, but their spiderman films are not that special (especially since it hasn't been long since the original trilogy ended). The current ones do not seem interesting to me and I have not problem avoiding them altogether. The only marvel movies I wish to see are the ones that are part of the same on screen universe that Marvel is trying to piece together, otherwise i have no interest in spiderman, the fantstic four movies or the x-men, unless they are given back to Marvel to help fresh out the same universe. Either allow Marvel to use spiderman as an important character in the Marvel Universe films, or give the rights back to Marvel. Again I WILL NOT WATCH ANY MARVEL FILM IF IT IS NOT PART OF THE MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE (meaning that the characters, references and actual cross overs are allowed in the films).

Its weird seeing the MVU dominate the way it has yet their flagship Superhero is nowhere to be seen. This needs to change.

This truly needs to happen, my wife and I just had a huge discussion about this, if sony would get out of their own heads and go 80 %(marvel/disney) 30% (Sony) it would be benificial for both parties, as we've seen in these recent years Marvel is very capable at creating a fleshed out story with any one of theyre movies, 30% of 500 to 700 million dollars is still a lot of money. Lets make this happen sony.

It's a shame what Sony is doing with the character, and even more that it declined to work a deal with Marvel to join the MCU.

The MCU franchise is unstoppable, why wouldn't Sony tie their selves to that? Pull it together Sony.
