A dog is a big responsibility but more than worth it in my opinion. They help with so much.

Having struggled with anxiety and depression my entire life (now 20) my animals have been a great companion. If you're ready for the responsibility make sure you get a beautiful shelter dog. I hope you reach that 500 mark. :)) if you do pls upload a pic of the dog op.

My mom was allergic, it sucked not being able to have a pet, I'd always play with friends pets as much as I could. I also walked neighbors dogs for fun.

get a dog that is a good match for you. I suggest for you to do the proper research, and go to shelters and get to know the dogs there to see which one is good for you. Never make an on the spot decision, take your time. While the dog my be only a part of your life, you are in his/her for his/her entire life.
