I have 5 dogs and they are the absolutely best! Retired Racing Greyhounds make great adoptable friends! Especially for first time dog owners! Just make sure you always have them on a leash outside!! Best of luck!!!!

I had some of the same issues as you did when I was younger. I was hospitalized for them and my social worker told us one of the best things my parents could do was get me a dog. I got a rescue who was abused and we learned to be better together :) corny I know, but he truely did save my life. I wish you the best :)
