I don't lie
This is an open letter to parents, men, women, and children. The time has come for all of us to take a real stand on bullying by injecting a little courage for our children to help them speak up. Children are tortured on daily basis; physical, mentally, emotionally and well as socially. When they raise their hands to say I am having problem, nothing happens and what is worse they become the problem or aggressor. A child in our community had the courage to walk away from a bully. The bully pushed him, took his lunch, pushed his books on the floor and took his notes for a story he was writing for a month. He used writing as his venting tool and did what we asked him to do, write it down and let it out. For year writing has been a great coping mechanism and great way to explore writing. Now, if someone steals your work and turns it in to a teacher and whatever you wrote in your own private note is now subject to public scrutiny and investigation. I ask you, employ you and as parent help keep our First Amendment writes in school. If they took away freedom of speak in school. All children will be subjected to or liable to same course as our child. A subject of an investigation, thrown out of school and labeled for the rest of his life. For simply expressing his anger and frustration on paper, instead of verbally and/or physically.
