The struggle with hypopara for many can be a matter of life and death. Please make this happen

I've had hypoparathyroidism for 27 years (all glands sugically removed) and have never heard of this drug.

Hypoparathyroidism is a life long struggle. We need help.

This is important, people shouldn't have to suffer just because they can't afford medical treatment. It is not fair.

Forteo has changed my sons life. His calcium/ phosphorus improved and also his urine calcium excretion improved as well. He took his doses divided into 3 times a day and has a very dedicated endocrinologist & nephrology team. Everyone should have the chance to the same access of medical care & medication around the world especially with rare diseases.

I do not have this illness myself, however I do know of someone who does and he could have a better outcome if he received this drug. He has been waiting for some time now. Please consider promptly. thankyou.

Make these meds cheaper for people who need them.

I have lived with Hypoparathyroidism for over 60 years, and have passed it on to all five of my sons. It is an insidious medical disorder few physicians really understand, let alone know how to properly treat it. Forteo, PTH 1-34, is a better choice among conventional regimes and could help avoid the potential of damage to the patient's kidneys over several years of treatment for active forms of vitamin D prescription only) and calcium supplements. Although it is not approved for the treatment of hypoparathyroidism, it can be prescribed off label so that the patients can at least have that option . This medication is life changing and should be accessible to all who are suffering from this disease.

My wife has hypopara and has pth injections daily. Her life is hugely improved by this. Although it's expensive, it's far cheaper than bi weekly blood tests at hospital!

The cost is literally resulting in an endless living torture for patients and their families. Please make it affordable for these people. Thank you in advance for you consideration.

My son was born last year with idiopathic Hypopara and will in the future require forteo. Any drug that will give him a normal life is a must for us. Any help with the cost will help a lot.
