This is a killer disease and needs the medical communities full attention as well as the public. There are many people out there who suffer from the symptoms of this disease which are many .. Proper diagnosis then minimalaly invasive surgery to remomve the tumours is the only answer. Please help!!

I totally agree with this ! This is sooo underdiagnosed,it's so sad how many suffer with this disease for years because doctors are not well educated about it.

Stop letting patients suffer through a wait and see approach!!
If your doctor wont listen,find one that will! Many of us have been through a multitude of doctors just to find one who will even listen!!!

Hyperparathyroidism is hugely underdiagnosed across the world. Recently I have seen correspondence from many endocrinologists and surgeons confirming it is common but doctors continue to attribute the symptoms to reaching your 40's or early menopause or lifestyle!! People very often don't get dignosed until they have a stroke or heart attack after years of ill health. The cure is a parathyoidectomy. The world needs to wake up to hyperparathyroidism.

Hyperparathyroid disease is a serious illness that can be corrected if properly diagnosed. I had complained about being fatigued for years and finally blood test diagnosed the disease. When I went back to the Dr. that I had been complaining too she told me she never heard of Hyper parathyroid disease.At least she has now and told me she would read information about the disease.
